PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting mechanism and a cutting method of a dispensing device, capable of further improving the working efficiency by reducing the frequency of movement of a vertical blade.SOLUTION: The cutting mechanism of the dispensing device comprises an upper horizontal blade 750 and a lower horizontal blade 770 for cutting a PTP (press through package) tablet sheet in the cross direction and an upper vertical blade 740 and a lower vertical blade 760 for cutting the PTP tablet sheet in the direction perpendicular to the cross direction separately.
