PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric hardly holding a liquid, hardly causing liquid flow, and having high recovery of bulkiness by blowing hot air.
SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric 10 includes heat-extending fibers extending the length thereof by heating and non-heat-extending heat-fusible conjugated fibers containing two components having different melting points, and subjected to a stretching treatment without substantially extending the length thereof by heating. A hydrophilizing agent is applied to the heat-fusible conjugated fibers, and the contact angle with water is 50-75°. The mixing ratio (former/latter) of the heat-extending fibers to the heat-fusible conjugated fibers is preferably (20/80) to (80/20). Intersection points of the mutual heat-extending fibers, intersection points of the mutual heat-fusible conjugated fibers, and intersection points of the heat-extending fibers with the heat-fusible conjugated fibers are preferably heat-fused by an air through method, respectively.
