PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of reel height detection means which detects a height position of a reel in a general-purpose combine.SOLUTION: A general-purpose combine C comprises: a reel support arm 38 which is freely oscillatory with respect to a reaping frame 8 in a vertical direction a reel 4 which is rotatably arranged at a tip of the reel support arm 38, and rakes in crops by its rotating operation a reel lift cylinder 41 which is interposed between the reaping frame 8 and the reel support arm 38, and lifts the reel 4 by its telescopic operation and reel height detection means 100 which detects a height position of the reel 4.
