MYCORRHIZAL FUNGUS OF ORCHID HAVING FUNCTION OF PROMOTING GERMINATION AND GROWTH OF PECTEILIS RADIATA AND PROLIFERATION OF LARGE AMOUNT OF SEED OF PECTEILIS RADIATA
PURPOSE: To obtain a mycorrhizal fungus of orchid having function of promoting germination and growth of Pecteilis radiata and to provide a method for multi plying a large amount of seeds using the mycorrhizal fungus. CONSTITUTION: This strain of FERM is obtained by retrieving an especially effective mycorrhizal fungus among mycorrhizal fungi of orchid having function of promoting germination and growth of Pecteilis radiata and is deposited in the National Institute of Bioscience and Human-Technology. Germination/ growth of Pecteilis radiata conventionally having difficulty in breeding from a seed can be readily promoted by using the mycorrhizal fungus.
