PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper in which distortion of an absorbent core is unlikely to occur.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper has an absorbent body 7 which is fitted to a crotch part of an exterior member and has a top sheet, a back sheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. In the absorbent core 7, a front side part 10F and a rear side part 10B are formed wider than a central part 10C, a front side intermediate part 10FM and a rear side intermediate part 10BM are formed in the way that widths gradually increase from the central part 10C toward the front side part 10F or the rear side part 10B respectively. In an adhesion area between the back sheet and the exterior member, a front side adhesion area 16F and a rear side adhesion area 16B are formed wider than a central adhesion area 16C, the central adhesion area 16C is extended outward in a width direction more than the central part 10C, and an outer edge in the width direction x is formed so that it cuts across an outer edge in the width direction x of the front side intermediate part 10FM and/or the rear side intermediate part 10BM.
