[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The absorbent article comprises an exterior sheet (12) comprising a permeable outer layer (12S), a permeable inner layer (12H), and an elastic stretch member (12C) interposed therebetween and an absorption part (20) which is disposed on the body side of the exterior sheet (12) and absorbs and holds body fluid. The exterior sheet (12) has permeability-improved part (12P) having neither the elastic stretch member (12C) nor the inner layer (12H), the part (12P) being formed, e.g., in an intermediate area (L) in the front/back direction for the absorbent article.
