PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which suppresses generation of a step caused by thickness difference between an absorbent core and its peripheral part and makes it hard for the third part to know that the absorbent article is worn.SOLUTION: A front end 24a and a rear end 24b in a longitudinal direction X of an absorbent core 24 are present on and below a lower end Sb of a side seal part S. An exterior body 3 has stretchable sheets 31A, 31C, and the whole of both sheets 31A, 31C have stretchability in a horizontal direction Y and are across the longitudinal direction ends 24a, 24b in the longitudinal direction X.
