PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article configured to easily receive excrement such as urine in a suitable manner.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and an absorptive core 11 disposed between the both, and has a longitudinal direction y and a width direction x. The back sheet 3 includes a first core elastic member 21 extending in the longitudinal direction y on both sides of a center line X in the width direction x and a second core elastic member 22 extending in the longitudinal direction y on the outside in the width direction x of the first core elastic member 21, which are arranged at a portion overlapped with the absorptive core 11. The second core elastic member 22 is fixed to the back sheet 3 so as to have a contracting force stronger than that of the first core elastic member 21.
