The needle comprising a hollow shaft a tip formed at one end of the shaft at least one port in fluid communication with the interior of the hollow shaft and a gate wherein at least one of the valve shaft and is movable between (i) a first position wherein the shutter closes at least one port, and (ii) a second position opening the at least one port.2. Needle according to claim 1, wherein in the first position the shutter forms a substantially fluid-tight seal between at least one port and surrounding atmosferoy.3.
