SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR SHIPPING AND STORAGE OF REPLACEMENT CONTACT LENSESABSTRACTA contact lens package assembly includes a primary lens package and a support member. The primary lens package has at least one contact lens sealed therein. The support member is sized to carry the primary lens package within a secondary package during shipping, and sized to removably mount to a storage case to retain the primary lens package within the storage case after removal from the secondary packaging. The support structure may be constructed with a drawer shape having a cavity defined therein sized to receive the primary lens package. The support member may have a generally rigid construction.
