PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type skin cosmetic which is used by applying on the skin, and can give a lasting cool feeling also after washing away with shower water or bath water.SOLUTION: The invention provides an oil-in-water type skin cosmetic containing the following component (A)-(C): (A) a nonionic surface active agent, (B) silicone oil except the component (A), and (C) 0.01 mass% or more to 2.5 mass% or less of l-menthol or a derivative thereof.
