PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design an analytical system with a pluggable data transfer module enabling the convenient, economical and reliable evaluation of analytical data. SOLUTION: This invention concerns a pluggable data transfer module and a method that can be used to transfer data from an analytical system to a data processing unit in a galvanically decoupled manner. The data transfer module is provided with a conversion unit for converting an electric signal to an electromagnetic signal or acoustic signal in combination with the calibration module interface of analytic equipment, or converting the electromagnetic signal and acoustic signal to electric signals or a communication unit enabling the data transfer of the electromagnetic signal or acoustic signal.
