PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery system capable of more reliably preventing a distal end chip from being detached from a shaft.SOLUTION: A stent delivery system includes: a shaft 4 which includes a lumen 44 into which a guide wire is inserted a sheath including an accommodation part that can accommodate a self-expanding type stent 7 inside, and covering at least a part of the periphery of the shaft 4 a distal end chip 6 fixed to a tip part of the shaft 4 and a stopper member 8 fixed to an outer peripheral surface 47 of the shaft 4.
