To provide a system for sucking hydrogen into the body while carrying the same.SOLUTION: The present invention is a device for generating hydrogen by making a hydrogen generating agent react with water to produce hydrogen. The opening of the hydrogen generating device has an opening/closing lid attached, with the hydrogen generating agent stored in the internal cavity of a cylindrical holder which has the internal cavity penetrating from the upper face to the lower face. The cylindrical holder is arranged in the inner space of the hydrogen generating device, and the cylindrical holder part in which the hydrogen generating agent is stored is immersed in water in the inner space of the hydrogen generating device. The cross section size of the inner cavity in the lower part of the cylindrical holder is larger than the cross section size of the internal cavity in the upper part of the cylindrical holder. The hydrogen generating agent is stored in the internal cavity in the lower part of the cylindrical holder, and the hydrogen generating agent stored therein comes into contact with water to generate hydrogen.
