PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleated solid pharmaceutical preparation accurately controlling the elution, hardly causing interlaminar separation and hardly being influenced by in vivo environment or compression molding force with slight variation of gastrointestinal tract retention time.
SOLUTION: The nucleated solid pharmaceutical preparation has a core layer and an outer layer covering the core layer. The core layer contains one or more kinds of active ingredients and the outer layer contains a modified starch having &ge400% water-holding capacity, &ge200 g gel push-in load, 40-95% content of a water-soluble ingredient, &ge90 wt.% of particles passing through a sieve of 75 &mum opening, &ge20 wt.% of particles passing through a sieve of 32&mum opening and &ge20 to <50 &mum average particle diameter. The nucleated solid pharmaceutical preparation has elution controlling properties of the active ingredients.
