PURPOSE: An apparatus for puffing grains is provided to easily pulverize grains by a bent portion formed in a threaded section of screw.CONSTITUTION: Multiple threaded sections(21) are connected to a motor at one end and rotated to transfer and pulverize grains. Multiple threaded sections are formed on the outer periphery from the center towards the other end. A screw section(20) is formed in a curve shape to the outer periphery in order to face multiple threaded sections which are formed on the other end. A cylinder(30) is formed to surround the outer periphery of the screw section. The cylinder compresses grains, which generates heat from grains by compression to change the grains to the gel state. A main body(41) is composed of a first opening formed on one side to accept a part of the cylinder which covers the other end of the screw section, a second opening formed on the other end, and a screw thread formed inside. A connection part(43) is connected to the second opening of the main body, and forms a grain outlet. A joint(45) fixes the outer periphery of the main body and the connection part. A puffing unit(40) puffs by rapidly ejecting the grains which have changed to the gel state by the screw section and the cylinder to the outside.
