PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article configured to effectively use absorption capacity of a back-side absorber.SOLUTION: An absorber 103 includes a longer direction Y and a width direction X orthogonal to the longer direction, and the length in the longer direction is divided into two, a front-side part 31 and a back-side part 32. In plan view from a skin contact face side, the absorber 103 includes a main groove 1 and minor grooves 2 connected to the main groove 1, disposed thereon. The main groove 1 includes an upstream main groove 11 passing a center of the longer direction Y and the width direction X of the absorber 103 and extending to the back-side part 32, and downstream main grooves 12 forked into two from an end portion 11B in the back-side part 32 of the upstream main groove 11 at equal width and extending to the back-side part 32. The main groove 1 has a line-symmetric shape, with a center line L1 along the longer direction of halving the width-directional length of the absorber 103 used as an axis.
