PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit for an endoscope, wherein a flexible board mounted with an imaging element is bent, wherein the peeling or the like of a terminal part of the imaging element from the flexible board does not occur, and which has a good heat radiation property.SOLUTION: This imaging unit 100 for the endoscope includes: the flexible board 11 having a mounting part mounted with the imaging element 1, mounting parts mounted with peripheral electronic components 15 except the imaging element, and bending parts formed between two mounting parts and a support member 21 having heat conductivity conducting heat generated from the imaging element 1, and supporting the flexible board 11.
