To provide an absorbent article in which gel blocking hardly occurs, absorption speed and absorption ability of a body fluid can be improved, return can be prevented and wearing feeling is not deteriorated.SOLUTION: There is provided an absorber 4 comprising: a water absorptive laminated fiber body 8 formed of pulp fibers and high absorptive polymer； and a cover sheet 9 for covering at least a skin facing surface of the water absorptive laminated fiber body 8. On a non-skin facing surface of the cover sheet 9, a plurality of salients 10 protruded outward and recesses 11 which become dent and are adjacent to the salients 10, are formed, the water absorptive laminated fiber body 8 is laminated on the recess 11.
