PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily pass a fastening tape through an insertion part.SOLUTION: A tape type disposable diaper is worn on a person by: folding a part of a fastening tape 5 including a lock part 9 back over a part on a base end side so as to overlap the part locking the lock part 9 to the part on the base end side and also covering the lock part with the part on the base end side forming a slit 6 through which the fastening tape 5 passes in each of both side parts on a front side separating the part including the lock part 9 from the part on the base end side and spreading the part after passing the fastening tape 5 through the slit 6 at least up to the part including the lock part 9, drawing the part back to a back side, and locking the lock part 9 to the fastening tape 5 or an outer surface on the back side.
