PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has a preferable texture and which comprises a surface sheet formed of a laminate in which peeling or floating hardly occurs between two sheets.SOLUTION: A surface sheet 2 is formed of a laminate of a first sheet and a second sheet. The laminate has plural joint parts formed of partial joint of the first and second sheets, the first sheet comprises plural salient parts which protrude toward a direction of separating from the second sheet on portions other than the joint parts, and protrude toward a body of a wearer. The surface sheet 2 has a center area S and a pair of side part areas M adjacent to the center area S. A shape and/or arrangement pattern of the joint parts are different between the center area S and the side part areas M. An area ratio of the joint parts is almost equal in the center area S and side part areas M.
