PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can reduce peeling sound from a garment such as underwear while having excellent fitting stability.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: a longitudinally long absorbent body having a liquid permeable surface sheet, a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet, and a liquid retaining absorber disposed therebetween and a pair of wing parts arranged on both sides of the absorbent body. The wing part comprises a main wing part positioned in an excretion part corresponding area in a longer direction of the absorbent body and an auxiliary wing part positioned in at least one of the front and back of the main wing part. A sum of the extended lengths of the main wing parts from both left and right sides of the absorbent body outward in a width direction is made longer than the length of the absorbent body in the width direction at that position. On the side of the auxiliary wing part to the main wing part, an angle between a line connecting an extended base portion and an extended tip portion and the longer direction of the absorbent body is 90° or below. An adhesive layer for fixing onto a garment is not provided on a garment contact surface of the rear surface sheet of the absorbent body, instead, fixing means for fixing the wing parts with each other is provided.
