Method suitable for production of oxygen and methane from carbon dioxide and oxide minerals transported aboard human-occupied spacecraft or found on Mars or other celestial bodies with use of dodecatungstophosphoric acid, which is regenerated with the use of acids such as phosphoric acid and hydrochloric acid, which is then mixed with sodium tungstenate. Embodiment using a hydrogenated large complex polymer formed of polycarbonate and PO4W12O36.
