The present invention relates to a method for breeding Protaetia brevitarsis using illite which includes the steps of: making assorted sawdust by mixing sawdust of shiitake mushroom of oak species, fermented sawdust, wheat bran, and an oil cake； making feed by mixing the assorted sawdust with a microzyme activator mixed with purified water； and adding processed illite to the feed to breed Protaetia brevitarsis. According to the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: preparing assorted sawdust by mixing the sawdust of shiitake mushroom of oak species, the fermented sawdust, the wheat bran, and the oil cake； mixing the assorted sawdust with the microzyme activator diluted with purified water, and preparing feed for Protaetia brevitarsis by fermenting, ripening, and sterilizing the mixture of the assorted sawdust and the diluted microzyme activator for 40 to 50 days； and breeding Protaetia brevitarsis ranging from spawned larvae to larvae of 90 days of age by applying preprocessed illite to an upper surface of the feed. In this case, the grown Protaetia brevitarsis bred by the method contains lower-than-permitted levels of heavy metals, such as, lead, arsenic, and cadmium. Accordingly, the present invention may provide Protaetia brevitarsis which is harmless to humans.본 발명은 참나무류 표고톱밥과 발효톱밥과 밀기울과 깻묵을 배합하고 발효미생물 활성제를 정제수와 혼합하여 상기 배합한 배합톱밥에 혼합하여 사료로 제조하고, 가공된 일라이트를 사료에 첨가하여 흰점박이꽃무지를 사육하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 상기와 같이 참나무류 표고톱밥과 발효톱밥과 밀기울과 깻묵을 배합하여 배합톱밥을 제조하고, 이에 발효미생물 활성제를 정제수와 희석하여 상기 배합톱밥과 배합한 것을 40일 내지 50일 동안 발효와 숙성하고 살균하여 흰점박이꽃무지의 사료로 하고, 상기 사료의 상부면에 선 가공한 일라이트를 도포하여 흰점박이꽃무지의 산란유충부터 90일령의 유충까지 사육하는 방법을 적용하면, 성장한 흰점박이꽃무지에서 납, 비소, 카드뮴과 같은 중금속이 기준치 이하로 검출되므로 인체에 무해한 흰점박이꽃무지를 이용할 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.
