PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-absorptive resin composition which has excellent antibacterial and deodorization performance, can be safely handled, has a moderate speed of water absorption, and is excellent in reversion performance when it is used in an absorbent article to provide an absorber produced using the water-absorptive resin composition and to provide an absorbent article produced using the absorber.SOLUTION: The water-absorptive resin composition comprises: the water-absorptive resin and a plant extract containing saponin.
