PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled type device, a control method for the self-propelled type device, and a control program for the self-propelled type device such that a work interval between mutually adjacent places is made shorter while work quality on a travel surface is improved.SOLUTION: A self-propelled type device (100) which performs work on a travel surface starts traveling in a second travel route (for example, L2) or a third travel course (for example, L3) among four parallel travel courses which are virtually set and adjacent to one another. The self-propelled type device travels sequentially in the four travel routes (travel routes L1-L4) in order without moving from a travel route in traveling to an adjacent travel route.
