A positioning device of a surgical instrument for hip arthroplasty surgery comprises: - an arched structure (2) having a first (3) and a second (4) end, wherein the first end (3) can be positioned inside a patient； - a gripping element (7) located at said second end (4) of the arched structure (2)； - a surgical instrument (8) that can be coupled to the gripping element (7) at a seat (9) made in this gripping element (7)； - a positioning and fixing head (12) arranged at the first end of the arched structure (2) and having connection means (13). The connection means (13) of the positioning and fixing head (12) face the gripping element (7) to couple with a stem (10) that can be inserted into a patient's femoral canal.L'invention concerne un dispositif de positionnement d'un instrument chirurgical pour une chirurgie d'arthroplastie de la hanche comprenant : - une structure arquée (2) présentant une première (3) et une seconde (4) extrémité, la première extrémité (3) pouvant être positionnée à l'intérieur d'un patient ； - un élément de préhension (7) situé au niveau de ladite seconde extrémité (4) de la structure arquée (2) ； - un instrument chirurgical (8) qui peut être accouplé à l'élément de préhension (7) au niveau d'un siège (9) réalisé dans cet élément de préhension (7) ； - une tête de positionnement et de fixation (12) agencée au niveau de la première extrémité de la structure arquée (2) et présentant des moyens de raccordement (13). Les moyens de raccordement (13) de la tête de positionnement et de fixation (12) font face à l'élément de préhension (7) pour s'accoupler à une tige (10) qui peut être insérée dans le canal fémoral d'un patient.
