The invention provides food compositions having visible food flakes on the surface and methods for making such compositions. The compositions comprise a comestible base and a partial or complete coating of comestible flakes attached to the comestible base, wherein the comestible flakes have a moisture content from about 5 to about 13% and a thickness from about 0.01 to about 0.1 mm.La présente invention a trait à des compositions alimentaires dotées de flocons daliment visibles à la surface et à des procédés permettant de réaliser lesdites compositions.
