PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of reducing the operation in the ultrasonic diagnosis, and a method of operating the same.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises: an image data generating part 42 for generating image data based on received signals from a transmission/receiving part 2 for ultrasonic-scanning a subject P by driving an ultrasonic probe 1 a diagnostic data generating part 82 for generating diagnostic data from the image data generated by the image data generating part 42 a control part 7 for inputting the diagnostic information and inputting the operation information for outputting the diagnostic data generated by the diagnostic data generating part 82 and a diagnostic information storage part 81 in which the diagnostic information and the operation information corresponding to the diagnostic information are stored in advance.
