PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel excellent in power transmission efficiency and taking-up operability.SOLUTION: A fishing spinning reel comprises a lid member which blocks a side opening part 13 arranged at the side part of a body 10 in which at least the lid member rotatably supports a handle shaft 5. The lid member itself is screwed in the side opening part 13 to be tightened and fixed. A reel body 1 includes a spool reciprocation device 70 which converts rotational motion of the handle shaft 5 into the back-and-forth reciprocating motion of a spool shaft 8. A gear 77 of a deceleration gear mechanism transmitting rotation of the handle shaft 5 to the spool reciprocation device 70 after reducing the speed is arranged between the handle shaft 5 and the spool reciprocation device 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
