PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover pulp fibers from a used sanitary article containing a pulp fiber and a polymer absorbent with good efficiency.SOLUTION: A method for recovering pulp fibers from a used sanitary article containing a pulp fiber and a polymer absorbent includes: a process in which a used sanitary article is put into a treatment tank in which an aqueous solution containing ozone dissolved therein is accumulated； a process in which the used sanitary article is treated, and the polymer absorbent is decomposed, is made into a low molecular weight and is solubilized while injecting water into the treatment tank at a first flow rate, discharging the aqueous solution from the treatment tank at a second flow rate, and introducing an ozone-containing gas into the aqueous solution in the treatment tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】パルプ繊維および高分子吸収材を含む使用済み衛生用品からパルプ繊維を効率よく回収する。【解決手段】パルプ繊維および高分子吸収材を含む使用済み衛生用品からパルプ繊維を回収する方法であって、該方法が、オゾンが溶解した水溶液の入った処理槽に使用済み衛生用品を投入する工程、および処理槽に第一の流量で水を注入するとともに、処理槽から第二の流量で水溶液を排出し、かつオゾン含有ガスを処理槽内の水溶液の中に導入しながら、使用済み衛生用品を処理し、高分子吸収材を分解し、低分子量化し、可溶化する工程を含むことを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
