PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an oral ingestion material, such as a drug capable of preventing or treating chronic renal failure with a less load on a body by reducing uremic toxin in blood.SOLUTION: An oral ingestion material containing an effective amount of hydroxylated fullerene derivatives is characterized by preventing or treating chronic renal failure. According with the invention, by administering an oral ingestion material containing an effective amount of hydroxylated fullerene derivatives to patients with chronic renal failure accompanied with economical load and decreased QOL, and furthermore, patients with chronic renal failure derived from all causes besides diabetic nephropathy, the stress to the body is reduced, uremic toxin in blood is reduced, and the prevention or treatment of chronic renal failure becomes possible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】身体に負荷が少なく,血中尿毒素を軽減させる,慢性腎不全の予防または治療が可能な薬剤などの経口摂取物の開発。【解決手段】水酸化フラーレン誘導体を有効量含有し,慢性腎不全を予防または治療することを特徴とする経口摂取物。本発明では,経済的な負荷とQOLの低下を伴う慢性腎不全患者,さらには糖尿病性腎症の他あらゆる原因に由来する慢性腎不全患者に対して,水酸化フラーレン誘導体を有効量含有する経口摂取物を摂取させることにより,体への負荷を少なくするとともに,血中尿毒素を軽減させ,慢性腎不全の予防または治療が可能となる。【選択図】図1
