PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid mixture feed relaxing stimulation to rumen mucous membrane caused by chloride even when adding highly soluble calcium chloride, and also improved in its palatability for the livestock: and to provide a method for producing the feed.
SOLUTION: The liquid mixture feed is obtained by dissolving calcium chloride, organic acid-containing fruit extract liquid or organic acid, and polyhydric alcohol to water. Monohydric alcohol may be further added to the mixture solution. The method for producing the liquid mixture feed comprises a process of charging calcium chloride to water, heating the mixture to dissolve the calcium chloride in the water, a process of cooling the solution to a room temperature followed by further charging the organic acid-containing fruit extract liquid and the polyhydric alcohol to be dissolved, a process of sterilizing the solution at 80-100°C after dissolving the organic acid-containing fruit extract liquid and the polyhydric alcohol, and a process of charging monohydric alcohol to the solution after sterilization to dissolve the monohydric alcohol in the solution.
