To provide a method for manufacturing a stent in which the occurrence of torsion in a connection part can be prevented.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a stent has the forming step (S11) of forming a strut and a pair of connection parts in a metal base material with a cylindrical shape, the polishing step (S15) of polishing the base material, and the annealing step (S16) of annealing the base material.
