The method for preparing gintonin according to the present invention is a method for separating crude ginseng from ethanol extract of ginseng using a water precipitation method in order to solve the troublesome problems that have been required to use various dialysis, anion exchange resin method and buffer, (Ethanol) and water are used without using methanol, butanol and anion exchange resin as solvents. Therefore, there is an advantage that it can be practically used without any additional stability (toxicity) test. In addition, since the method of the present invention can separate gintonin with high yield as compared with the existing gintonin separation method, it is possible to reduce the cost, so that it is not only cost competitive, but also the root of ginseng, Is able to separate gintonin from stem or leaves of ginseng, so that it can utilize waste resources.본 발명은 에탄올 및 물 침전법을 이용한 인삼으로부터 조 진토닌 수율을 높이는 대량 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 진토닌 제조방법은 종래 여러 번의 투석, 음이온교환수지법 및 완충액을 이용해야 했던 번거로운 문제점들을 해결하고자 인삼 에탄올 추출물로부터 물 침전법을 이용하여 조 진토닌을 분리하기 때문에 진토닌 제조 시간의 획기적인 단축 및 수율을 높일 수 있으며, 용매로서 메탄올과 부탄올 및 음이온 교환 수지등을 사용하지 않고 에탄올 및 물만 사용하였기 때문에 별도의 안정성(독성) 검사 없이 바로 실용화가 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 방법은 기존의 진토닌 분리방법에 비해 간단하면서도 높은 수율의 진토닌을 분리하는 것이 가능하므로 비용을 절감할 수 있어 가격 경쟁력이 있을 뿐만 아니라 인삼의 뿌리는 물론, 인삼 수확 후 버려지는 인삼의 줄기나 잎에서도 진토닌을 분리할 수 있어 폐자원을 활용할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
