PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate the burden of work for removing a protective cap from a blood port connector of a blood circuit in the use of the blood circuit.SOLUTION: The protective cap 12 (22) for a blood port connector in the blood circuit includes (a) a top plate part 12a (22a), (b) a tubular part 12b (22b) which is provided downward from the outer peripheral part of the top plate part and has a height longer than the distance from the tip of the blood port connector to a screw terminal, (c) a circumferential rib 12c (22c) which extends from the open end part of the tubular part to the inner peripheral side and (d) a projection part 12d (22d) which is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the tubular part between the circumferential rib and the top plate part.
