A storage management method. The storage management method comprises: a manager receives a data write request, determines data types of to be written data pages (S1301), assigns different logical blocks for the to be written data pages of different data types, where each logical block corresponds to the to be written data pages of a same data type (S1302), and transmits a data write instruction to an SSD, where the data write instruction carries the to be written data pages corresponding to at least one assigned logical block and information of the at least one assigned logical block (S1303); the SSD receives the data write instruction and writes, on the basis of the data write instruction, the to be written data pages corresponding to the at least one assigned logical block into a physical block corresponding to the at least one assigned logical block (S1304). This effectively reduces a write amplification produced when erasing a physical block of the SSD.
