PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for preventing a snake from climbing a tower which has high effects of preventing the snake from climbing the tower. SOLUTION: The tool for preventing a snake from climbing a tower is designed to prevent the snake from climbing up the tower through the base 3 and the pole material 1 in the iron tower 100 including the base 3 and the pole material 1 extending from the base 3. The tool includes: a covering member 10 in which the pole material 1 is provided with a surrounding form in a state free of unevenness on the surface so as to provide a surface state for regulating the snake in climbing the tower; and a pair of upper and lower lid members 11 for closing the opening of a gap formed between the covering member 10 and the pole material 1.
