<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package body for gel-like food, and to provide a method for improving storage of the gel-like food. <P>SOLUTION: The package body for gel-like food is produced by charging heat-generated substance which contains 20-80 parts of gelatinized protein based on 20-80 parts of konjac paste at a constitutional ratio of the konjac paste to the gelatinized protein, and is generated by controlling pH 7.8 to 9.8, in a casing or a package, so as to block a flow of air.
