PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent endoscope apparatus which acquires a fluorescent image having light volume sufficient for detecting weak light at high frame rate even when kinds of fluorescent images to be acquired increase by increasing light volume entering an imaging element.SOLUTION: The fluorescent endoscope apparatus comprises an illumination section that irradiate a subject selectively and repeatedly in time series with light having plural wavelength bands in which at least two wavelength bands among R, G and B are used both as illumination light for reflective observation and excitation light, a light path dividing means for dividing light from the subject, and a wavelength selecting means and a monochromatic imaging element provided on each light path. One of the wavelength selecting means transmits fluorescence emitted by being excited by light that doubles excitation light and having at least one wavelength band and light having wavelength band excluding the at least one wavelength band, and shields light having the at least one wavelength band. The other of the wavelength selecting means transmits light having the at least one wavelength band and fluorescence emitted by being excited by light having wavelength band excluding the at least one wavelength band, and shields light having wavelength band excluding the at least one wavelength band. When one of the two monochromatic imaging elements photographs a fluorescent image, the other photographs a reflection image.
