The anticancer agent is doxorubicin.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012본 발명은 평활근-22α(smooth muscle-22α, SM22α)를 이용한 항암제 또는 감마선에 의한 세포 노화 유도 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는, 간암 세포주에서 MMS(methyl methanesulfonate)의 처리에 의해 증가하는 SM22α가 암세포의 성장을 저해하고, 메탈로티오네인(metallothionein) 1G(MT-1G)의 발현을 증진시키며,세포노화 유도에 관여하는 p16INK4a/pRB 신호기작을 조절하여 세포 성장을 억제할 뿐 아니라, 저선량의 감마선 조사나 소량의 독소루비신(doxorubicin)이 첨가될 경우 세포 노화를 유도하는 효과가 있음을 확인하였으므로, 상기 SM22α 단백질, 또는 SM22α 단백질을 암호화하는 폴리뉴클레오티드를 포함하는 벡터는 암 예방 및 치료용 조성물, 항암 보조용 조성물, 또는 건강식품의 유효성분으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
