PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formulation which has reduced quantity of fine powder even if it comprises a herbal dry extract having high hygroscopicity, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A composition comprising a herbal dry extract is sprayed with an aqueous solution of a binder including pregelatinized starch to granulate a fluid bed, thus a herbal medicine formulation is obtained. In the pregelatinized starch, the content of a water-soluble component may be 45 to 90 mass%, and the viscosity of the 3 mass% aqueous solution may be 100 to 300 mPa s at room temperature under 30 rpm. The content of the pregelatinized starch may be 0.1 to 5 mass%, and the content of the herbal dry extract may be 40 to 95 mass% to the whole of the formulation. The herbal medicine formulation may be a powdered medicine in which the content of fine powder of 200 mesh passes (≤75 μm) is 10 mass% or less.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】吸湿性の高い漢方乾燥エキスを含んでいても、微粉量の少ない製剤及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】漢方乾燥エキスを含む組成物に、アルファー化デンプンを含む結合剤の水溶液を噴霧して流動層造粒し、漢方製剤を得る。アルファー化デンプンは、水溶性成分の含有量が45~90質量%、3質量%水溶液の粘度が、室温、30rpmで100~300mPa・sであってもよい。製剤全体に対して、アルファー化デンプンの含有量は0.1~5質量%、漢方乾燥エキスの含有量は40~95質量%であってもよい。漢方製剤において、200メッシュパス(75μm以下)の微粉の含有量は10質量%以下の散剤であってもよい。【選択図】なし
