PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a fiber positive electrode for lithium secondary battery having LiMnO, as a positive electrode active material, and utilizing electrolytic deposition, and to provide a fiber positive electrode for lithium secondary battery having LiMnO, as a positive electrode active material, produced by the production method.SOLUTION: After depositing MnOelectrolytically on the carbon fiber surface by using manganese nitrate solution as electrolytic deposition bath, a Mn oxide can be doped with lithium efficiently, by using electrolytic deposition bath containing 40 molar ratio or more of LiOH for MnOin a water heat treatment process, and MnOcan be transformed to LiMnO. In the water heat treatment process, an oxidizer, such as HO, is added to the electrolytic deposition bath.
