PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide disposable paper diaper in which a color change in an indicator due to moisture absorption of an absorber is prevented without deteriorating a wearing feel or drastically increasing the cost.SOLUTION: An indicator 12 for indicating a color reaction by the contact with moisture or a body fluid is interposed between a liquid-impermeable back sheet 2 and a core wrap sheet 5, and delaying means 13 for delaying the moisture penetration from an absorber 4 to the indicator 12 is applied by the core wrap sheet 5 itself overlapping at least the indicator 12. The delaying means 13 is constituted either by folding back the core wrap sheet 5 in the diaper widthwise direction or by melting the core wrap sheet 5 into a film or a half-film.
