PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the displacement with time of an interested part within volume data on one image in an X-ray CT apparatus.
SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus comprises: an image reconstitution part 52 for generating 2D data on the basis of projection data a volume data generation part 53 for generating 3D volume data on the basis of the 2D data a cross section setting part 55 for setting a specified cross section within the volume data a cross section and time sequential volume data generation part 56 for extracting the 2D data on the specified cross section from the respective volume data of a plurality of time phases generated by the volume data generation part 53 respectively and generating cross section and time sequential volume data for which the respective extracted 2D data are arranged relative to a time base and an image processing part 54 for displaying MPR images for which MPR processing is executed to the volume data and the cross section and time sequential volume data or displaying 3D data for which volume rendering processing is executed to the volume data and the cross section and time sequential volume data.
