The robots-manipulators (100, 200) are located so that they are able to serve simultaneously the neighbouring milking stalls (5) on the platform (3). Each of the robots-manipulators (100, 200) is made with the ability to attach to one animal (7) in the milking stall (5) of the subset of the total required amount of teat cups (21) to be attached to the teats of the said animal (7) in the milking stall (5), so that in each specific animal the teat cups (21) are attached to its teats by at least two robots-manipulators.
