PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lipolysis promoter effective for improvement of pyknic type by promoting decrease of systemic or topical fat tissues or effective for suppressing or preventing obesity by preventing increase of the tissues, and to provide a food composition for slimming which contains the lipolysis promoter.SOLUTION: The food composition for slimming contains a lipolysis promoter represented by general formula (1) (wherein R represents a hydrogen atom).
