The invention relates to a system which consists of hanging a series of baskets (4) having latticed walls and on which the substrate or mesh with substrate for the plants is arranged, said baskets (4) being hung either from guides (1) attached by screws to a wall (3) in order to form a vertical planting system adjacent to the wall, or mounted on posts (2) attached independently to the ground in order to form separations or divisions between private and common areas or to separate two rooms. Both the guides and the posts are complemented with a drip-irrigation system and a lighting system, the baskets (4) optionally being arranged in an aligned manner, at an angle, in a cross, or forming various configurations and/or arrangements.
