PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for killing insects without performing a low temperature treatment for killing insects excessively, but surely performing the low temperature treatment of the whole of materials to be treated, and further preventing the quality deterioration of the materials to be treated caused by dew formation, etc., at the time for rewarming.SOLUTION: This facility for killing insects by the low temperature treatment has a low temperature storage warehouse 2 for performing the low temperature treatment for killing the insects of the materials to be treated 1, a normal temperature chamber 3 for rewarming the treated materials 1, and a conveying chamber 4 for conveying the materials to be treated 1 is provided by in treating the materials 1 to be treated with the low temperature for killing the insects, inserting a temperature sensor into the inside of the materials to be treated 1 through a housing material 1a and conveying to the inside of the low temperature storage warehouse 2 by conveyers 22, 23, 26. The detected signal of the inner temperature of the materials to be treated 1 by the temperature sensor is transmitted through wireless to a controlling device (a watching device). The materials to be treated 1 after the low temperature treatment for killing the insects is conveyed out to the normal temperature chamber 3 from the low temperature storage warehouse 2 through conveyers 26, 23, 24, 36 for rewarming.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】過剰に低温殺虫処理することなく、しかも確実に被処理物全体を低温殺虫処理することが可能であり、さらに復温時の結露等による被処理物の品質劣化が防止される低温殺虫方法及び低温殺虫設備を提供する。【解決手段】低温殺虫設備は、被処理物1を低温殺虫処理するための低温貯蔵庫2と、被処理物1を復温させるための常温の室3と、被処理物1を搬送するための搬送室4とを有している。被処理物1を低温殺虫処理するに当っては、収納体1aを通して該被処理物1の内部まで温度センサを差し込み、コンベヤ22,23,26で低温貯蔵庫2内に搬送する。温度センサによる被処理物1の内部温度の検出信号は無線を介して制御装置(監視装置)に送信される。低温殺虫処理後の被処理物1をコンベヤ26,23,24,36で低温貯蔵庫2から常温の室3へ搬出し、復温させる。【選択図】図1
