The present invention relates to an antioxidative composition containing an Acer pictum var. mono (Maxim.) Maxim. ex Franch leaf extract as an active ingredient, and a production method thereof. The Acer pictum var. mono (Maxim.) Maxim. ex Franch leaf extract of the present invention removes active oxygen species (DPPH, ABTS radical) directly, has reducing power, and also removes active oxygen. In addition, the Acer pictum var. mono (Maxim.) Maxim. ex Franch leaf extract is able to suppress DNA damage due to oxidative stress and also contains antioxidant components (polyphenol, flavonoid), thereby being useful as an antioxidant composition.본 발명은 고로쇠 잎 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항산화 활성을 갖는 조성물 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 고로쇠 잎 추출물은 활성산소종 (DPPH, ABTS radical)을 직접 제거하고 환원력 (Reducing power) 효과를 가지고 활성산소를 제거할 수 있으며, 산화스트레스에 의한 DNA 손상을 억제 할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 항산화 성분 (Polyphenol, Flavonoid)을 함유하고 있어 항산화용 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 효과가 있다.
